If you received your first Indiana University computing accounts after January 1, 1994, then you also received a Network ID at that time.

Your network username and passphrase (which together compose the Network ID) are typically the same for your other UITS computing accounts. You can change your network passphrase and other passphrases using IU's Passphrase Maintenance Utility at:

  https://passphrase.iu.edu/

If you do not have a Network ID, see Your University account (formerly Network ID) and Create your first IU computing accounts (admitted students, faculty, staff, affiliates, and those returning to IU)

If you do not know what your network passphrase is, see ARCHIVED: At IU, if I forget my passphrase on a UITS shared central system, what should I do?
