ARCHIVED: Register your IU Exchange email account with CSEES

This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.
Note:
Indiana University no longer uses the Cisco Secure Email Encryption Service (CSEES) to encrypt email, and instead uses Microsoft Office Message Encryption (OME). If you have CSEES-encrypted email you need to read, see Read a CSEES-encrypted message.

To register your Indiana University email account with Cisco Secure Email Encryption Service (CSEES), you will first need to send a CSEES-encrypted envelope from your IU email account. Shortly after sending a CSEES-encrypted envelope, you will receive an invitation from CSEES. Follow the instructions in the email message.

Note:
You will receive registration notifications every 30 days until you register your account or unsubscribe from further notifications from CSEES by following the link in the email message.

After you have registered your IU address, you will be able to manage your CSEES profile and lock or expire sent messages at https://res.cisco.com/.

Never share your CSEES password or IU passphrase with anyone.
