How can I register my IU Exchange email account with CRES?

To register your Indiana University email account with Cisco Registered Envelope Service (CRES), you will first need to send a CRES-encrypted envelope from your IU email account; for help, see At IU, how can I tell if a message I sent was encrypted by CRES? Shortly after sending a CRES-encrypted envelope, you will receive an invitation from CRES. Follow the instructions in the email message.

Note:
You will receive registration notifications every 30 days until you register your account or unsubscribe from further notifications from CRES by following the link in the email message.

After you have registered your IU address, you will be able to manage your CRES profile and lock or expire sent messages at https://res.cisco.com/.

Never share your CRES password or IU passphrase with anyone.
