How to tell if a CSEES-encrypted message was sent from IU
When you receive a message encrypted by Cisco Registered Envelope Service (CSEES), examine the email message containing the envelope attachment. If the message states "This secure message was encrypted by Indiana University", then it was encrypted at IU. If not, it was encrypted by Cisco, or by another organization's device.
Keep this information in mind as you decrypt the message, following the directions in Read a CSEES-encrypted message.
