Use your iPhone as a trackpad for your iPad on IUanyWare

Note:
You need the Citrix Workspace app installed on both devices; see Set up and use IUanyWare.

To configure your iPhone as a trackpad for your iPad:

  1. Make sure your iPad and iPhone are connected to the same wireless network.
  2. Open the Citrix Workspace app on both devices.
  3. On the iPad, open one of the software packages available through IUanyWare (for example, Microsoft Word). In the middle of the screen, you will see a tab with a downward-facing triangle. Tap the triangle to launch an IUanyWare menu, and make sure the pointer is not highlighted.
  4. On the iPad, select Pair from the IUanyWare drop-down menu. A "Connection... Waiting..." dialog box will appear.
  5. On the iPhone, tap the Settings icon at the bottom of the screen. Choose Advanced, and then choose Wireless Trackpad. A "Connection" dialog box will appear; choose the device for which you want the iPhone to serve as a trackpad.
  6. On the iPad, the "Connection... Waiting..." dialog box will become an "Accept/Reject" dialog box. Choose Accept.
  7. You may briefly see a "Connecting" dialog box on the iPhone, and then it will go to a black screen. The iPhone is now in trackpad mode.
  8. To disconnect the iPhone from trackpad mode, click Done at the top. You will be taken back to the "Advanced Settings" page.
