About IUanyWare

Overview
IUanyWare is a client virtualization service available to Indiana University students, faculty, and staff. With IUanyWare, you can use a web browser or mobile app to run certain IU-licensed software applications without having to install them on your computer or mobile device.

To get started with IUanyWare, follow the instructions in Set up and use IUanyWare.
Use IUanyWare
There are two main ways to use IUanyWare:
- Apps: To use a specific application using IUanyWare, you can go to the tab in IUanyWare and choose an application from the selection provided. Available apps include Microsoft Suite apps (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc.), Microsoft Teams, RStudio, Remote Desktop Connection, and more.
- Desktops: To use an IUanyWare desktop, go to the tab in IUanyWare. If you can access IUanyWare Desktops, you will see the "IUanyWare Desktop", which is the standard desktop available to all users.
To see if a specific software or desktop is available, use the search feature located in the upper right of IUanyWare.
Work with files in IUanyWare
Once you are connected to IUanyWare, you will need to enable Cloud storage access for IUanyWare by going to IU Cloud Storage and authorizing each cloud storage that you will need. For more about IU Cloud Storage and using storage in IUanyWare, see:
