ARCHIVED: Known issues with Adobe Connect at IU
Adobe Connect, IU's previous web collaboration and conferencing system, became read-only on August 31, 2017, and was fully retired on December 28, 2017. After a comprehensive pilot evaluation, Zoom was selected as its replacement.
UITS converted Adobe Connect recordings to MP4 format, but Adobe Presenter files were not automatically converted. UITS offers a content migration service for faculty who need assistance moving Presenter content to other platforms. To take advantage of this service, complete the Adobe Presenter Migration Support form.

Windows 8.1 screen share freezes intermittently |
When a Host/Presenter shares his or her entire desktop from a Windows 8.1 computer, after a period of time, the screen share may freeze for the remote meeting attendees. If the Host/Presenter stops sharing and starts sharing again, meeting attendees will see a black share window. When the screen share is frozen, the rest of the Connect meeting (audio, video, text chat) will continue working. |
The Host/Presenter must leave the Connect meeting, rejoin the meeting, and initiate the screen share again. |
