Note:
These instructions assume you have already published an ITPilot job to your Denodo virtual database (VDB).
If your ARCHIVED: ITPilot job downloads a file to be consumed by Denodo, you'll need to add your ITPilot job to the Denodo Scheduler. However, it's unnecessary to schedule an ITPilot job that returns a result set to a Denodo view.
Access the Scheduler
To access the Denodo Scheduler:
- Navigate to the appropriate version of the scheduler:
- Stage scheduler: Use the stage scheduler to migrate resources between environments. Navigate to https://ebidvt-stg.uits.iu.edu/webadmin/denodo-scheduler-admin/ and click .
- Development scheduler: Use the dev scheduler to create cache refresh jobs. Navigate to https://ebidvt-dev.uits.iu.edu/webadmin/denodo-scheduler-admin and click .
- Enter your IU username and passphrase; be sure is unchecked.
- Click .
Add an ITPilot job
To add an ITPilot job to the Denodo Scheduler:
- Near the upper right, under the menu bar, click
- In the "Job name:" field, enter a name for the job, and in the "Job description:" field, enter a description.
- At the top, select the tab.
- From the "Data source:" drop-down menu, select the data source with Note:If you don't see a data source with EDSD Support Form .in its name, contact EDSS using the
in its name.
- In the "Wrapper name:" field, enter the name of the wrapper you exported from ITPilot.
- At the top, select the tab.
- In the "Cron expression:" field, enter the cron expression; alternatively, use the cron-like UI to specify when the extract should run. For instance, you can specify a particular minute and hour of the day, which will schedule the extract to run daily at that time.
- Click .
To request assistance with ITPilot or the Denodo Scheduler, fill out the EDSD Support Form .
