What should I do if I get a Two-Step Login (Duo) request that I did not initiate?

Important:
As of November 2, 2017, CAS logins for all IU faculty, staff, students, retirees, and affiliates will require Two-Step Login (Duo). This includes both personal and group or departmental accounts. For more, see About using Two-Step Login (Duo) every time I log into CAS.

It is very important that you do not accept a Two-step login request from Duo that you did not initiate. Denying the request keeps someone with malicious intent from accessing your information, even if that person knows your IU username and passphrase.

Note:
You will receive email notification when your personal information is accessed or changed, with instructions about what you should do if you did not initiate the request.
