Viewing and exporting student grades

To view and export student grades for all graded items from Gradebook:

  1. In your site's menubar, click Gradebook.
  2. At the top, click All Grades.
  3. You will see a list of students whom you are authorized to grade, their scores or grades on all graded items, and their cumulative scores, if applicable. You can search for a particular student by name or ID. If your course has defined sections or groups whose members you are authorized to grade, you can filter the roster to display those sections or groups one at a time by selecting the section, group, or category from the View drop-down list. If your course does not yet have any students enrolled, you will see the message, "No students to display".
  4. To export grades in .csv format, in the upper right, click Export Gradebook.

Note: Gradebook item point values will only be exported up to two decimal places. In addition to the "Student ID", "Student Name", "Section ID", and "Course Grade" columns, the export will contain a column for each Gradebook item. If you filter your roster or sort by column before exporting, it will be reflected in the output.

  5. When you are finished viewing and exporting grades, click Gradebook Items to return to the main Gradebook menu.
