Creating a site

At Indiana University, Oncourse course sites are automatically created for instructors. To request a practice course site, project site, portfolio site, or an IU School of Medicine (IUSM) practice course site, see ARCHIVED: Requesting a site. To learn more, see ARCHIVED: Site types: Overview.

Deleting a site

You can't delete a course site. Course sites from summer 2010 and earlier were archived after eight semesters; however, course sites from fall 2010 and later will remain available indefinitely. Users can hide course sites from previous semesters with the Preferences tool in My Workspace; for instructions, see ARCHIVED: Showing, hiding, and ordering sites.

To delete a practice course site, project site, or portfolio site that you own, send your request via email to scmc@iu.edu. Include your siteID in your correspondence; see ARCHIVED: Determining your site's siteID.
