Where are IT Training sessions held, and what are my options for transportation and parking?

The following information is for those attending UITS IT Training in-person sessions on the IU Bloomington or IUPUI campuses.

Note:

If you have an IU parking permit from your home campus and are visiting either the Bloomington or Indianapolis campus, see IU Parking Operations' Intercampus Parking.

To park in spaces other than those that are metered or in pay lots, you must register your vehicle with the university. This regulation is in effect 24 hours a day.

Bloomington campus

Many IT Training sessions at IUB are scheduled in the IT Training computer lab classrooms in the Learning Commons in the Herman B Wells Library at Tenth Street and Jordan Avenue. To get to these classrooms, from the Wells Library lobby, enter the West Tower through the south doorway. Classrooms 138 and 144 are in the south hall of the West Tower, immediately to your left.

Transit

Bloomington Transit's routes 6 and 9 serve the Wells Library; for route information, see BT's Maps and Schedules. All IUB students, faculty, and staff can ride Bloomington Transit buses for free. Students use their student ID cards as a bus pass. Faculty and staff can request a free bus pass from Campus Card Services; see Bus Pass Information.

The Campus Bus system is free to all riders, and serves the Wells Library.

Note:
Current campus cards, including CampusAccess, Jagtag, UCard, and others, are being replaced by CrimsonCard, the new official photo ID card for all IU campuses. For details, see About CrimsonCard.

Parking

For IUB parking information, see Office of Parking Operations.

Indianapolis campus

Many IUPUI IT Training workshops meet in room IT 121 in the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (ICTC).
