To access research computing systems at IU, which hostnames should I use?

Use the following hostnames to access the UITS research computing systems at Indiana University:

Mason mason.uits.iu.edu
Research Database Complex rdc.uits.iu.edu
Note:
Researchers with Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) allocations on Mason should access their accounts via the XSEDE Single Sign-on Login Hub.
Note:
Mason, Indiana University's large memory computer cluster, will be retired on January 1, 2018. For more, see About the Mason retirement.
