Using IU Box on mobile devices

About your options

To access your IU Box files and folders from a mobile device, it's best to install and use the Box app for your device. Box currently has mobile applications for iOS, Android, Windows, and BlackBerry. You can also use Box's mobile site at box.com.

There are also many apps that can be used with Box for your personal data. However, you may use only approved apps with university data; see About apps for Box.

Logging in

When using the Box app, you should log in using the Single Sign-on (SSO) option. This may be listed as Use Company credentials.

When connecting to your IU Box account from any non-IU login screen, enter your IU email address and no password (any password you enter will be ignored). You will be redirected to CAS to log in with your IU credentials. A few applications will not redirect you to CAS; these require you to enter an external password. Do not enter your IU passphrase on any non-IU login screen.
