Drive for desktop will not upload or sync to a drive over quota and sends frequent notifications that you are out of space. Removing files until you are under quota allows sync to resume.

Firefox under GNOME Desktop does not cut or copy cells in Sheets if you use the keyboard shortcuts and braille support is turned on.

Updated links for files and folders shared before September 13, 2021

On September 13, 2021, Google applied a security update to Google Drive to make file sharing more secure. The update changed the links for some shared files and folders. Links for affected shared files were given new URLs that include resource keys. Collaborators who have not yet accessed an affected file that you shared prior to the update will now need the file's new link URL (containing the resource key) to access the file. Access to affected shared files did not change for any collaborators who accessed those files (prior to the update) or for those with direct access.

Individuals can upload 750 GB each day between Google My Drive and all shared drives. If you reach the 750 GB limit or upload a file larger than 750 GB, you won't be able to upload additional files that day, but any uploads that are in progress will complete.

Google recommends fewer than 20 layers of nested folders

In Google at IU My Drive and Google at IU Shared Drives, Google recommends keeping the number of nested folder layers under 20 to prevent issues.

Google at IU My Drive and Google at IU Shared Drives do not have a "viewer uploader" permission

Google My Drive and Google Shared Drives do not have a permission level that allows only viewing and uploading files. The permission level that allows uploading files also allows editing and downloading files.
