Duo phone call and SMS alternatives

Indiana University implemented Duo Universal Prompt on July 12, 2022. Phone call and SMS functions are no longer available for logging into Duo. Instead, UITS recommends one of the following:

• Use the Duo Mobile app to set up a Duo Push to your device.
• Obtain a hardware token.
• Use another option such as:
  • MacBook with Touch ID
  • USB security key
  • Smartphone without using a phone number
