About comments in FireForm workflows

In FireForm workflows, you can allow or require comments on the forms staff members process. For complex forms with multiple reviewers, you can use comments to make sure you collect all relevant feedback. Comments are enabled in individual workflow steps, and can be optional or required.

To enable comments for a workflow step:

  1. Log into your tenant's Admin dashboard, then select Tools, and then choose Workflows.
  2. Choose the workflow with the step you want to turn on comments for, and then in the top right, select Steps.
  3. Select the step you want to turn on comments for, and then select Edit.
  4. On the left, in "Workflow Options", select Optional or Required from the "Commenting Option" drop-down menu.
  5. In the bottom right of the page, select Save.

Once you enable comments in a step, they will be enabled in that step of the workflow for all forms. When you process a form, a prompt for comments will appear when you reach that step in the form. If comments are required, you will be unable to move to the next step until you add a comment. To be able to move to the next step in the workflow, enter text in the comments field, and in the bottom left of the page, select Save.

If you have additional questions, need to report a bug, or would like to make enhancement requests for the FireForm system, submit a FireForm Support Request.
