How do I make a deposit or check my balances on my CrimsonCard?

The following explains how to check your balances and make a one-time deposit to your CrimsonCard. For help setting up EZ Deposit for your CrimsonCard, see About EZ Deposit.

Depositing funds

Funds added following the instructions below may be used for printing (if no allotment is available), with participating on- and off-campus vendors, and more. For details, see Paying with CrimsonAccounts.

Note:
A parent does not need third-party access to make a deposit to a student's CrimsonCard.
  1. On the CrimsonCard page, from the Using your Card drop-down menu, select Making a Deposit.
  2. Select the Online box.
  3. If you are the cardholder: Under "Manage Account", click Login and log in with your IU username and passphrase.

    If you are not the cardholder:

    1. Under "Express No Login Deposit", in the "University ID" field, enter the cardholder's 10-digit University or affiliate ID.
    2. In the "Last Name" field, enter the cardholder's last name; alternatively, in the "Network ID" field, enter the cardholer's IU username.
    3. Click Continue to Express Deposit.
  4. Select Deposit.
  5. Select the desired amount.
  6. Check I agree to CrimsonAccount Terms and Conditions, and then click Continue.
  7. Follow the prompts to complete your transaction.

Checking balances

  1. On the CrimsonCard page, click Account Login.
  2. Under "Manage Account", click Login and log in with your IU username and passphrase. Your balances will appear at the top of the page.
Note:
Funds added using the Depositing funds instructions above will be added to your CrimsonCash balance. Other balances may appear if they're available to you (e.g., IU Print allotments).
