Make a deposit or check balances on your CrimsonCard

Overview

These instructions explain how to check your balances and make a one-time deposit to your CrimsonCard. For help setting up Registration Deposit (formerly known as EZ Deposit) for your CrimsonCard, see About Registration Deposit (formerly EZ Deposit).

Deposit funds

Funds added using the instructions below can be used for printing (if no allotment is available), with participating on- and off-campus vendors, and more. For details, see Paying with CrimsonAccounts.

Note:
A parent does not need third-party access to make a deposit to a student's CrimsonCard.
  1. On the CrimsonCard page, from the Using your Card drop-down menu, select Making a Deposit.
  2. Complete the requested information, including:
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Enter the amount to deposit and your email address.
  5. Select the checkbox to agree to the terms and conditions, and then click Submit.
  6. Click Proceed to Pay.
  7. Select the desired amount.
  8. Select a payment option, and then follow the prompts to complete the deposit.

Check balances

  1. From the CrimsonCard home page, click Manage Your ID Card.
  2. Log in with your IU username and passphrase.
  3. From the top of the page (or from the menu), click MY ACCOUNTS. Balance information will appear on the page. For details, click the plan name.
Note:
Funds added using the Deposit funds instructions above will be added to your CrimsonCash balance. Other balances may appear if they're available to you (e.g., IU Print allotments).
