Known issues with Solstice at IU

Following are known issues affecting Solstice at Indiana University.

The latest release of Solstice (version 5) includes a "Conferencing" feature that is not currently supported at IU. Use Solstice only when all class or meeting participants are in the same room. If there are local and remote participants in your class or meeting, use Zoom instead of Solstice to share screens wirelessly. UITS will continue to evaluate the Solstice Conferencing feature. August 11, 2020

If your device is not connected to the IU network (for example, to eduroam or IU Secure), you will not see the list of available Solstice displays at IU when you launch the Solstice app.

Only devices on IU's network see IU's Solstice displays by default. Ongoing August 11, 2020
