Open a data set stored on your computer using SPSS on IUanyWare

Note:
Access to locally stored files from IUanyWare applications is available only when using the Citrix Workspace app (formerly known as Citrix Receiver) for Windows or macOS. If you are using the web Receiver (the "light version"), switch to the Workspace app; see Switch between Citrix Workspace app and web Receiver.

In SPSS on IUanyWare, to open a data set stored on your computer:

  1. From the File menu, select Open, and then choose Data.

In the "Open Data" dialog box, you will see that SPSS is looking in the My Documents folder. This is a virtual folder, not a folder on your computer.

  2. To find files on your local computer, in the dialog box, browse the directory structure under the Computer icon until you find an entry stating, for example, Local Disk (C on ...). Select the Local Disk entry to access the directories on your computer.
    Note:
If you want to open a data file that is not in SPSS format, you must change the "Files of type:" drop-down menu.

For more, see Work with files when using an IUanyWare application.
