Overview

The LearningTechnologies-L email list provides important and timely announcements for instructors using IU-supported learning technologies such as Canvas and IU eTexts. Messages include featured learning technologies and pilots, news and updates on various applications and tools (including maintenance and availability), and upcoming events and opportunities.

While the list is faculty-focused, anyone is welcome to join. The LearningTechnologies-L list is an announce list only. List members cannot post to the list as a whole, but they can respond directly to the Faculty Liaison for Learning Technologies.

Join the list

To join the list, do one of the following:

  • Send a blank message to learningtechnologies-l-subscribe@iu.edu from the email address you want to subscribe to the list. You'll receive a message from the IU List system asking you to confirm your subscription; to do so, reply to the message or follow the link in the message.
  • Visit the Learning Technologies list subscription page. You'll be prompted to enter your email address. Check your email for a confirmation message, and follow the link in the message to confirm your subscription.

Access message archive

To view and search previous announcements sent to the LearningTechnologies-L email list, go to the annual archives on the Google site for the list.

Leave the list

To leave the list, do one of the following:

  • Send a message to learningtechnologies-l-unsubscribe@iu.edu. You'll receive a message saying that you have been removed from the list. No confirmation is necessary.
  • Visit the Learning Technologies list unsubscription page. Check your email for a confirmation message, and follow the link in the message to confirm your removal from the list.
