Overview

MindView is a mind mapping application that allows you to visually capture ideas and concepts as well as attach documents and link to external resources. Once your MindView account is set up, below are different ways you can access MindView at IU.

Note:
At Indiana University, access to MindView is granted by your campus ADA services office. Contact the ADA services office on your campus to learn about arranging a course accommodation for your needs.

Access MindView

Personal computer

MindView has both a desktop application as well as MindView Online, which can be used with a web browser.

MindView Desktop is available for Windows and macOS. For set up instructions, see:

STC computing labs

To find STC computing labs for your IU campus, see About the IU STCs (computing labs). MindView Desktop is not available in the STC computing labs.

You can access MindView Online from the Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari web browsers installed in the STC computing labs.

IUanyWare

IUanyWare is a client virtualization (CV) service available to Indiana University students, faculty, and staff. MindView Desktop is not available from the IUanyWare services.

You can access MindView Online from the Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari web browsers installed in the STC Lab Desktops that are available from the IUanyWare service.
