If you can't connect to IU Secure wireless

Important:
  • If you can't connect to the IU Secure wireless network, make sure your IU username and passphrase are correct when you attempt to log in. UITS testing has revealed that invalid logins are a prime reason people have trouble connecting.
  • When you try to connect to IU Secure for the first time, you may be prompted to accept a new security certificate. Verify that the certificate is issued by "USERTrust RSA Certification Authority", and click OK or Connect. If you continue to experience issues, see About the IU Secure wireless certificate.
  • If your device does not support WPA2 Enterprise, you will be unable to connect it to IU Secure.
  • For help, contact your campus Support Center.

If you still cannot connect, your best bet is to download and install the IU Secure Setup Wizard, available from IUware for Windows or Mac OS X or iOS. If you are on campus, you can connect to the free AT&T wireless network for visitors to do so; you may need to go to a public area of a building to find that network.

You could also try manually configuring IU Secure; usually you can delete your current profile for IU Secure and then you will be re-prompted for your IU credentials to connect. For more, see About IU Secure wireless. For device-specific instructions, see the related documents below.
