Problems logging into CAS

If you're having trouble logging into IU's CAS (Central Authentication Service) and you think you should be able to do so, select your primary relationship to IU and follow the instructions:

If your status isn't listed, contact your IU campus Support Center.

Student (admitted or enrolled), employee, or affiliate

For help, contact your campus Support Center.

Guest (including applicant)

Note:
Applicants should follow different instructions to Check the status of your application to IU.

If you're having trouble using your IU Guest account credentials (email address and password):

  1. Try resetting your IU Guest account password.

    Go to Guest Accounts in One.IU, and click Start.

  2. On the left, click change your Guest password, and then follow the on-screen prompts.

    If the problem persists, contact your campus Support Center.

Parent or guardian

Parents or guardians cannot log in through CAS to view student information. For a parent or guardian to be able to view a student's information, the student must first assign third-party access to the parent or guardian. Once authorized for third-party access, parents or guardians should follow the instructions in Use a third-party account to view a student's personal information.

Former student or employee

Former students and employees without retirement status in the Extended Relationship phase can access select IU resources for a limited time.
